Cloudwell
In communities without well-water access, large mesh nets called “fog catchers” are often used to draw condensation from the air for drinking. Wilderness campers learn how to rig tarps to capture rain. Inspired by these survival technologies, Cloudwell channels rainfall through a woven sculptural form into a simple clay drinking vessel, in quiet recognition of the fact that water is a source of life.
